Update: 6-10-2021

We are excited to announce Construction Industry Institute (CII) of The University of Texas at Austin will be managing our JIP program going forward. We look forward to the new opportunities this relationship provides, and growing and improving with CII. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

The JIP is a cooperative effort, established in 1991, by a number of petroleum and chemical companies to consolidate independent construction cost surveys soliciting similar information from contractors. There is now one survey sponsored by the JIP. The result is a single more cost effective means of satisfying owner information needs and reducing contractor reply time and effort. Both sponsoring JIP companies and respondents are benefiting.
Today the JIP is a single coordinated effort by petroleum and chemical owner companies for collecting information on the costs associated with the construction of major industry facilities. There are three JIP surveys.

  Process Facilities Construction
  Offshore Facilities Fabrication
  Marine Construction Facilities

A focused cost effective means of standardizing company construction cost data collection efforts.

A credible high quality program for receiving historical data and information confidentially from contractors.

Information provided by the world’s leading process contractors and fabricators.
